The tide is rising in Northeast Harbor!

RTP was established in January 2014 by John and Johanna Boynton to help make the rebirth of Main Street NEH a reality. Like many others, we had dreamed about what we might do to help rejuvenate NEH in the wake of the 2008 fires. Despite broad support for the idea of rebuilding and infusing life on Main Street with quality year-round housing, restaurants, and retail, the empty lots remained. We purchased our first vacant lot in December 2012 and set about deciding how we could make revitalization a reality.

It took three years to bring our first project to fruition: a cafe/restaurant and co-working space at 123 Main Street. Building on that experience, RTP is actively planning the redevelopment of vacant lots at 131 Main Street and 145 Main Street.

Our mission is to contribute to
a more vibrant and sustainable Main Street
for year-round and summer residents alike.
